Bethel Day 11/12

So yesterday started out nicely. I went to breakfast at Black Bear Diner with a friend and it was a great real breakfast. It was much needed. Then off to school for a fun filled day of revelation. So worship was great. Will Mathews led and he has written some neat, fun, energetic songs that I know some of you would love. So during worship I decided to ask the lord a silly question. It was God what color is Hope? I heard a male voice say to me green and then He showed me that as I was taking a step green would grow like a rolled out carpet of the softest grass. It was interpreted that as long as I allow Him to direct each step and I take it one step at a time then hope abounds. Then He showed me in the normal world how green works. Like in commercials about future investments the arrows that show people the way are green, I gave a woman money for food yesterday and He reminded me of the hope that lit her eyes when she saw green money and that everyone stirs after the winter at the first sight of anything green. So then there is a hope that Spring is on the way. It was a really neat revelation.

Then Dan McCollam spoke on worship (of course) and about the new generation and new song the Lord has instilled in us. He was a very energetic teacher and it was a really fun class hearing how the Lord is changing the nations. That has seemed to be a little about this weeks teaching. Sound creates and that we need to be true to who God created us to be. Dan travels the world releasing the new sound to the nations. This means he is giving permission back to them to take their native tongue and traditions and release them to their people in glory to God. This was a really neat testimony class of what God is doing everywhere. Some amazing things are happening around the world and I can't wait till our people out there come back and tell us.

The the big news is that I intended to watch the band session I tried to get into. I had decided to tell the Lord I was not going to promote myself and if the space opened great if not then it was needed for someone else. So I'm watching and Kathy Vallotton asks if there is anybody wanting to lead worship. A few hands went up but mine did not. Then she asked a girl if she was on any of the band session lists and she said no so if there was someone who was they should go first and Kathy called my name out. So the song I sang was See His Love. Everyone keeps asking who was in the band. I don't know their names but the piano player was a little red haired girl. The drummer and guitarist I think played last Sunday so watch worship and Brandon the main bass player was teaching the bass students. They were awesome. I ended up being the last person to go out of 7 and was the fastest song, and it was fun. The class and the band were apparently having a good time and just rocking out. It was such a nice gift from the Lord to me.

Then I took another amazing class from Dan McCollam on the new song. It was so helpful to understand that the new song is not always new but that it means refreshing, renewal, redemptive, restoring. It was a fantastic class filled with some really great tools to use and to take the pressure off of trying to do it on our own. This is a partnership with the Lord and we go back and forth. I can't wait for Doug to take a class or two. He is teaching at the school of prophets. Actually, today I took his class on the 5 types of prophetic song. It was awesome because we practiced what he was teaching about. So we got to sing in the spirit and travel the world allowing the Lord to give us the languages of the nations, then we sang melodies from the heart. This is no words and I loved it. I didn't want to stop. Maybe something to with my word about the Lord playing my heart and me to him. Then we did spontaneous song. Then we did Harp and Bowl and then prophetic singing over people on the spot. And God is so faithful that the words were dead on. When we mix music and words they change the world. he taught about how if we will spend time just practicing for an hour a day the top 3 we will begin to know when the atmosphere has changed. When the spirit of healing has walked in a room, or peace, or faith or whatever. I am looking forward to this challenge and passing it on to each of you! You can start now. He says 1 day sing in the spirit and travel the world asking God to give you the languages of the nations or to reveal what it sounds like for warfare, peace, intimacy or whatever. Next day do 1 hour of singing melodies from the heart. This mean no words just let your heart sing and only sing in 2 or three vowel sounds. Next day sing spontaneous worship in your native language to the Lord. Then do this for a month and you will have greater understanding. Even in the practice you could feel the difference between the three of the spirit , body and mind. It was awesome.

This is both days. You probably won't get another blog from me till next week after the 4th. I am blessed to be able to drive up to OR to see most of my mom's side of the family. Another neat gift from the Lord. So I will be spending the 4th with family. Once back I have 4 days of school left and will be graduating next Friday evening. Yes, I believe you can watch the ibethel.tv site if you have a membership and see the graduation. Don't know what it looks like but hey maybe you can see what I see. I also recommend to you all who can to catch Kim Walker's worship set and teaching from Monday.

May you all have a blessed 4th of July and time at church. Doug and Janet I pray blessing on the wedding and your daughter. I miss you all and am excited to get home, but I still have a little more time here and I am going to make the most of it. Please keep praying for more revelation and more glory to fall. I am excited that we finally get to have Chris Quilala lead us in worship! I know good things are in store. I'm hoping to bring back lots of amazing songs so get ready! Love you all.
