Bethel Day 15

Yesterday was a great school day. We had an awesome worship time with Chris and Brian had an amazing vision. Then we sang Holy God over and over as we sang for the people and the nations who could not sing for themselves. It was amazing. I started out on the London Bridge, and then every time I sang Holy God I switched to new places. I went to the streets and saw the sex trade happening around me with children. Drug deals happening, Children being kidnapped in the Congo, Bullets flying by me in Iraq, and as I kept singing the Lord took me to dark, scary places and all these things were happening around me and I was singing Holy God. It was amazing. It was awesome. I also asked God what orange was and I kept getting purifying and refining.

Dan McCollam had a wonderful discussion that I recommend everyone watch. It is free on ibethel.tv from 7-7-10. It talked about the 3 types of heaven we know about. And what we do with them. It was awesome to understand the scriptural basis for where we get the idea of heavens. A quick rundown in 1st heaven is the heaven Jesus paid the price for and bought back for man. 2nd heaven is the realm of the fallen. 3rd heaven is where God dwells. I loved this class. 1st heaven is we need to saturate the heaven with the glory of the Lord, 2nd heaven we need to displace the atmosphere and 3rd heaven is we delight.

Then I took the worship big class and it rocked! Practical application of worship in the heavens.

We need to remember that our battle is for the atmosphere.

1) Establish and practice your internal atmosphere. We need to become a tabernacle.

- Practice connecting with God in non-church settings

- Practice connecting in dark places or scary places or places of stress

My authority over the external realm is in direct connection to my internal realm authority.

Many people have learned to ride a wave of he spirit but the time has come to make a wave of the spirit. We carry the kingdom inside of us. Peace, righteousness, and joy. I can carry these things into any situation. I am looking forward to learning better how to do this.
So to do this I will be taking captive every thought against the fact that I am righteous. Don't try to do righteous, be righteous. And of course this works for anything don't try and do holy things be holy.
Do not adjust your expectations to the atmosphere.
The scripture in James "count it all joy." Count it means a military term: general. Meaning let joy be your general. If you can maintain this joy, peace and righteousness it is easier to hear God's voice.

2) Establish and overthrow the atmosphere. Maintain your internal kingdom. This is how we worship to the size of our room. The devil likes to magnify himself and we can add to it if we are not careful. To magnify the Lord you need to take a magnifying glass and look close. Believe that where there is a demon there are at least 2 angels in the room waiting for assignment. Let's not allow them to continue to sit idle. We need to focus not on what was but what is there. A simple example is this. Let's say you go into a hotel room and you feel a nasty presence don't focus on the old presence focus on the fact that you as a person who carries the kingdom and glory are now changing the atmosphere and you feel sorry for the next person in the room!

Some ways to do this is praise in place, proclamations, impartations, fruit f the spirit, prayer and intercession, repentance and gifts. These are ways to release the kingdom into the atmosphere. Once you have a handle on this you can begin to worship bigger than the room. You need to adjust the measure of your receiving. Example. You want to make a lunch for 1 person you would not make 12 sandwiches. So you need to make enough for the amount of people you are feeding. So I want to receive enough for 100 people because I know that is what I will be praying for. I receive and then I take more. Then I need to learn to give my praise an assignment. So case in point would be if I was at a church and they were singing a song that did not pertain to me at the time I would ask the Lord who this song is for and who should I be singing for. So we need to have a vertical track going with the Lord and then a horizontal assignment. Now this does not happen every time but is good to know about and understand so we don't miss opportunities to make change. So worshiping bigger than the room means worship for more than just yourself.

I hope this all makes sense. I am sorry if this is disjointed but I am feeling very ill. I have graduation tomorrow. All main classes have ended and this will probably e my last blog about school. There are a few of the teachings online in the free media on ibethel.tv and you can watch the graduation service for free at the same website tomorrow evening. I hope this blessed you and gave you a little hint of all I am learning.

Bethel Day 13/14

Okay, I know I haven't written anything in a while. There wasn't tons to write since I was gone for the fourth in Oregon. Last Friday I only attended a main session before heading off. It was Ray Hughes talking about David. He is a man that has studied David and has some great revelation about David. He spoke to us about being a Davidic generation and then what that was going to mean for us. The largest part was we needed to seek the Lord for everything. How can we create the atmosphere that God can't stay away from? David didn't presume about how to do anything after the occasion of Uzza touching the arc and dying. The scriptures say he inquired of the Lord all the time. You cannot rest on what you did. New revelation for each situation is needed. This means that you don't have to strive for your future destiny. This way you are walking out your destiny. These are just ways of being a Davidic generation.

Here are some great and different points he talked about.
Surround yourself with Godly people and people who understand your heart.
Where there is no revelation my people cast off restraint. (scriptural)
Where there is no vision my people parish. (not scriptural)
We need to remember we are on a journey.
Unity for unity sake is unity.
True unity is corporate humility, we know why we are together and why He is here.

He then talked about about the sound of all the musicians as one unified sound. God won't inhabit a place unprepared for Him. We need to understand the seriousness of releasing our sound. We need corporate unity to prepare so the Lord can come.

Here are some general points to ponder. They may seem disjointed but you can listen to some of his teaching for free on ibethel.tv.
No matter what the old day looked like good or bad it is a new day, and that is what we need to focus on. New revelation everyday.
Don't spend time cursing the darkness. (like feeling 20 yrs behind the times in worship.)
Light up the darkness and don't worry. Stop being afraid of the rest and show them the Creator.
If we have a fresh revelation everyday we will be on the cutting edge of whatever we choose.
David grabbed the muddy, dirty, slimy people and places. This is who we need to go after. God will set us up for the dirty slimy places.
Responsibility = the ability to respond

Here is a word the Lord gave him to give to us. "You are highly skilled, you're greatly anointed, you're called to fight for others and you're equipped to win." This was an awesome word. I loved it.

Here is another side bit. Lily means trumpet. Look at the flower(shape of trumpet) God will release the sound. The trumpets sound and the king rides in. What a great name!

Yesterday we had a Q&A with the worship leaders of the church. It was fun. Nothing major revealed mostly questions about how to work through stuff.

In the afternoon I took prophetic song with Jenn. Now I bet you're thinking this was a class about how to make that happen or get better at it. Not really. So I will give you some points and some questions asked and answered.
Every person on the worship teams needs to tap into the prophetic.
Be uplifting, edifying and encouraging musically or vocally.
Team needs to flow or learn how to flow.
Risk going after Him no matter the sound. As you keep doing it and learning your craft you will sound better. Don't let the sound stop you from doing what the Lord said to do.
Tune into what sound you're hearing.
Create a relationship where we are watching each other often so we can follow and encourage each other.
Break off fear!!!!
Rise above the stuff in your life. You can either try and work through it or rise above it and take it higher to the Lord. He will show you the right perspective on your problems.
Never let the worship hat come off. We are worshippers no matter what else.
Do not bring others into your crap!
If you have sinned or have a problem make it right quickly. Take it to a leader or go to the person you have a problem with.
Each time we lead we need to come into it with clean hands and a pure heart. So do what you need to do, but remember God loves you. He does not punish you.
Ways to become more intentional in prophetic song. 1)Set up the team so we can practice. 2)It is ok to not be perfect. We need to obey not worry.
You cannot judge the response. We never know what people are thinking or how they are reacting whether they show it or not.
Don't 2nd guess the feeling you are getting based on response.
There is more but I will save it.

In the late afternoon I went to how to tap into the third heaven class. This was an easy class. Some awesome testimonies of autism healed, an allergic reaction to even touching dairy healed. Just fun things like that. Then she put on soaking music and asked us to picture Jesus in front of us. So as we were walking through ,meeting with Jesus and talking to Jesus then we asked Him to take us to our garden He made for us. So as we were doing this she asked people what Jesus did when they walked up to Him and then what he said. Some said He hugged them, said I love you, son, dance, etc. So now I will tell you what happened to me.

I saw Jesus in front of me. I walked up to Him and hugged Him and then he tucked my arm into his and looked down at me and said, "Are you ready to be a firecracker?" I totally understood this question. I laughed and then I asked Him to show me my garden. This cracked me up to. My normal brain thought it was going to have flowers and trees and what most would think of as a garden. But my garden was a maze. It was a maze cut out of bushes. So we walked arm in arm and talked about what the fireworks from me would look like. And as we walked around some corners there was something funny or silly and it made it enjoyable to look around the next bend to try and spot something. Then I asked about the fire mom saw in my hand and I saw it and it began to move up my arm and then I began lighting candles out of no where and the skies changed to the night sky that I love at home and then she called us back. It was a fun thing to do. I am looking forward to honing this skill and seeing all that He wants to show us. As you can tell through all my blog entries Jesus is revealing himself as my lover over everything else He is. It is great! I realize that all the scenes He reveals to me are lover like and romantic. The maze was a perfect garden for me. Simple yet intriguing and thought provoking. So this was the end of my day. I hope all of you can try this exercise and I will bet most of you have been there and didn't even know it! Have a wonderful week. This is my last week of school. I have a few more classes and then it turns into graduation and impartation! Hopefully some of you will be able to watch it on Friday. Have a blessed week.

Bethel Day 11/12

So yesterday started out nicely. I went to breakfast at Black Bear Diner with a friend and it was a great real breakfast. It was much needed. Then off to school for a fun filled day of revelation. So worship was great. Will Mathews led and he has written some neat, fun, energetic songs that I know some of you would love. So during worship I decided to ask the lord a silly question. It was God what color is Hope? I heard a male voice say to me green and then He showed me that as I was taking a step green would grow like a rolled out carpet of the softest grass. It was interpreted that as long as I allow Him to direct each step and I take it one step at a time then hope abounds. Then He showed me in the normal world how green works. Like in commercials about future investments the arrows that show people the way are green, I gave a woman money for food yesterday and He reminded me of the hope that lit her eyes when she saw green money and that everyone stirs after the winter at the first sight of anything green. So then there is a hope that Spring is on the way. It was a really neat revelation.

Then Dan McCollam spoke on worship (of course) and about the new generation and new song the Lord has instilled in us. He was a very energetic teacher and it was a really fun class hearing how the Lord is changing the nations. That has seemed to be a little about this weeks teaching. Sound creates and that we need to be true to who God created us to be. Dan travels the world releasing the new sound to the nations. This means he is giving permission back to them to take their native tongue and traditions and release them to their people in glory to God. This was a really neat testimony class of what God is doing everywhere. Some amazing things are happening around the world and I can't wait till our people out there come back and tell us.

The the big news is that I intended to watch the band session I tried to get into. I had decided to tell the Lord I was not going to promote myself and if the space opened great if not then it was needed for someone else. So I'm watching and Kathy Vallotton asks if there is anybody wanting to lead worship. A few hands went up but mine did not. Then she asked a girl if she was on any of the band session lists and she said no so if there was someone who was they should go first and Kathy called my name out. So the song I sang was See His Love. Everyone keeps asking who was in the band. I don't know their names but the piano player was a little red haired girl. The drummer and guitarist I think played last Sunday so watch worship and Brandon the main bass player was teaching the bass students. They were awesome. I ended up being the last person to go out of 7 and was the fastest song, and it was fun. The class and the band were apparently having a good time and just rocking out. It was such a nice gift from the Lord to me.

Then I took another amazing class from Dan McCollam on the new song. It was so helpful to understand that the new song is not always new but that it means refreshing, renewal, redemptive, restoring. It was a fantastic class filled with some really great tools to use and to take the pressure off of trying to do it on our own. This is a partnership with the Lord and we go back and forth. I can't wait for Doug to take a class or two. He is teaching at the school of prophets. Actually, today I took his class on the 5 types of prophetic song. It was awesome because we practiced what he was teaching about. So we got to sing in the spirit and travel the world allowing the Lord to give us the languages of the nations, then we sang melodies from the heart. This is no words and I loved it. I didn't want to stop. Maybe something to with my word about the Lord playing my heart and me to him. Then we did spontaneous song. Then we did Harp and Bowl and then prophetic singing over people on the spot. And God is so faithful that the words were dead on. When we mix music and words they change the world. he taught about how if we will spend time just practicing for an hour a day the top 3 we will begin to know when the atmosphere has changed. When the spirit of healing has walked in a room, or peace, or faith or whatever. I am looking forward to this challenge and passing it on to each of you! You can start now. He says 1 day sing in the spirit and travel the world asking God to give you the languages of the nations or to reveal what it sounds like for warfare, peace, intimacy or whatever. Next day do 1 hour of singing melodies from the heart. This mean no words just let your heart sing and only sing in 2 or three vowel sounds. Next day sing spontaneous worship in your native language to the Lord. Then do this for a month and you will have greater understanding. Even in the practice you could feel the difference between the three of the spirit , body and mind. It was awesome.

This is both days. You probably won't get another blog from me till next week after the 4th. I am blessed to be able to drive up to OR to see most of my mom's side of the family. Another neat gift from the Lord. So I will be spending the 4th with family. Once back I have 4 days of school left and will be graduating next Friday evening. Yes, I believe you can watch the ibethel.tv site if you have a membership and see the graduation. Don't know what it looks like but hey maybe you can see what I see. I also recommend to you all who can to catch Kim Walker's worship set and teaching from Monday.

May you all have a blessed 4th of July and time at church. Doug and Janet I pray blessing on the wedding and your daughter. I miss you all and am excited to get home, but I still have a little more time here and I am going to make the most of it. Please keep praying for more revelation and more glory to fall. I am excited that we finally get to have Chris Quilala lead us in worship! I know good things are in store. I'm hoping to bring back lots of amazing songs so get ready! Love you all.
